Young Justice Ep. 25- "Usual Suspects" Review

This is the episode I've been waiting for. And what can I say? It was absolutely phenomenal.

The meat of this episode was the mole storyline. We had Artemis, M'Gann, and Conner tell the Team their secrets. I had a couple of issues with that particular scene. I thought that we got a anticlimatic ending for the Artemis family subplot, and they should've had her secrets revealed in "Insecurity". White Marrtians would've made sense if they postponed it to the last scene of the season finale, hence the second season title "Invasion". Superboy's secrets weren't all that big, so it didn't bug me that it was revealed here. Also a part I liked about the White Martian reveal was that everyone stepped back when they saw her true form except Aqualad. Just heartwarming.

Also, this is definitely one of the best episodes when it comes to action. The Cheshire/Riddler Lex Luthor/Queen Bee fight scenes were executed very well, I enjoyed them a lot.

There was a full circle element to this episode as well. We had nods from Independence Day/Fireworks and other continuity stuff.

But damn, that ending was friggin' badass. Vandal Savage watching the sunset as the League now down to him, badassery plain and simple.

And Roy was the mole, Dissapointing more emphasis on this when I do a review of the season finale.

5/5! Epic, Heartwarming, and Action-packed! An episode you won't want to miss!

A heads up, I will start a new blog review series soon, revolving around YJ.
